Vicuña, the world’s most expensive cloth. Almost a synonym for “luxury”, this extraordinary fibre is sheared from the coat of the Andean vicuña, whose wool was so prized by the Incas that only royalty were permitted to wear it. Vicuña is the finest woollen yarn capable of being spun…much finer even than cashmere, and is both super-light and wonderfully warm. Its rarity is explained by the fact that each animal is sheared only every two years to produce only 200g of fibre. Every vicuña product from Wall comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
