Vicuna, the world’s most expensive cloth.
Almost a synonym for “luxury”, this extraordinary fibre is sheared from the coat of the Andean vicuna, whose wool was so prized by the Incas that only royalty was permitted to wear it. Vicuna is the finest woollen yarn capable of being spun…much finer even than cashmere, and is both super-light and wonderfully warm. Its rarity is explained by the fact that each animal is sheared only every two years to produce only 200g of fibre. Every vicuna product from Wall comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
