Privacy and consent to the use of the Wall London Data

Security is a major concern of customers who want to purchase online. We have put in place a system that is much safer than giving your credit card details over the telephone or paying for a meal in a restaurant.
We do respect your privacy that is why we process your data only by fulfilling all legal requirements. See section II for more information on what we collect and why when you visit or order from our website

I. Data acquisition and data use

1. How we use your personal data

a) Placing an order: When you shop with us, there are different ways we gather information about you: When you register with us, we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address and contact details. We keep a record of this information. All this is necessary for us to recognise you as a registered customer. To fulfil the orders you place with us, we pass the relevant data on to Logistic teams and Banks. We keep a record of your purchases with us, this means we can deal a lot quicker with any problems you may experience with your order. A telephone number helps us to contact you if we have further questions. An email address is used to send the confirmation of the order. We keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us. This helps us keep track any problems or concerns you've had with our products or services.

b) My Account: We do not store your banking data and all payment processes are encrypted to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the Internet. We install password-protected direct access for every customer registering on the website (my account). The customer assumes responsibility not to pass this data to others. We cannot take liability for the misuse of passwords.

c) Promotion: We use your data for promotional purposes, this means: for information about articles from our collection.

d) Other data collection and use: Visits to our website and newsletters. When visiting our website, even via a link in a newsletter, certain data will be collected and saved. For security reasons the domain name and IP-address of the data processor will be recorded. This data will be deleted no later than after 7 days. Sometimes data entry, access data, http – answer code and the website, that is transferring to our website, and the amount of transferred bytes, can also be saved. The analysis of this use will only be carried out anonymously (i.e. Information XY was used by 45% of the readers of the newsletter). This enables us to combine the opinion of our customers with our offers. Furthermore we save cookies on your computer.

2. Saving data by using cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites can send to your computer. A cookie can be thought of as an Internet user's identification card, which tells a web site when the user has returned. Cookies are not computer programs, and can't read other information saved on your hard drive. They cannot be used to disseminate viruses, or get a user's e-mail address etc. They only contain and transfer to the web site as much information as the users themselves have disclosed to that web site. Cookies make the interaction between users and web sites faster and easier. Without cookies, it would be very difficult for a website to allow a visitor to fill up a shopping basket or to remember the user’s preferences or registration details for a future visit. The Wall website uses cookies to allow customers to move from one part of the website to another and to add items to the shopping basket without having to login repeatedly.
Additionally, this website uses Google Analytics. This is a service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies that are saved on your computer. These offer an analysis of your use of our Internet offers. The information given by the cookies about the user of the website (including IP-addresses), will be sent to a Google server in the USA and saved.
Google uses the US-SAVE-HABOUR data protection regulations and is registered with the SAVE- HABOUR-PROGRAM. Google only uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to create a study on website intensity and to offer additional information about services connected to website and Internet use.

3. Secure Data Transfer

When you order or login, your personal data is encrypted to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected. We use the SSL Code (Secure Socket Layer). Although no one can guarantee absolute security, we save our website and other systems through technical and organisational provisions against loss, access, change or circulation of your data by unauthorized persons.

II. Specific use of your data with your acceptance
